Here are some common questions we get asked for information.

Q: How do i pay ?
A: Simple you can pay the driver cash or cheque when we deliver the skip (preffered method) or you can pay on collection - please note though that collection can take upto 24 hours so please be prepared to wait as we dont guarantee a time.
Q: What size skip do I need?
A: We have three sizes of skips - mini, midi, maxi. If you are unsure about the size of skip you need just give us a call and tell us what you need the skip for and we will try to help and advise you.
Q: Where can I have my skip dropped?
A: You can have it dropped on your driveway, garden, building site or highway*.
Q: Do I need permission from the Council to put a skip on the road?
A: Yes. You will need a permit from the Council but don't worry because we can apply for the permit on your behalf but please note that there will be an additional fee of £15 and a strict time limit of 14 days of hire.
Q: Are there any restrictions on what I can put into a skip?
A: Yes. You cannot use a skip to dispose of tyres, fridges, gas bottles or any form of asbestos.
Q: Are there any skip loading requirements?
A: The only requirement is that you don't overload the skip. If this is the case we will either ask you to lower the skip to the fill level or charge an additional fee of up to £100.
Q: What areas do you cover?
A: We cover Middlesbrough, Redcar, Marske, New Marske, Guisborough, Stockton, Yarm, Billingham, and some surrounding areas**. However if you are unsure please give us a call to find out if we cover your area.
Q: How long can I keep the skip?
A: All skips can are hired out for up to 14 days however you MUST contact us within 14 days to arrange collection.
Q: How do I book a skip?
A: We offer a prompt and reliable service – please telephone the office on 01642 455222 where we can help you with your requirements. We can normally deliver the same day depending on the time of call and also our current bookings.
Q: How much notice do I need to give?
A: We usually ask for 24 hours notice for collections or drop offs.
Q: Do you have a license to dispose of waste?
A: Yes - you can see our waste carriers license here
* In order to place your skip on a public highway we must first obtain a license from the local council, we will obtain this license for you at a fee of £15
